It is always a profound pleasure to play for a couple on the most important day of their lives, and Digyna and Kishan’s wedding in Miami was truly one for the books. The energy, the love, and the stunning atmosphere made it an unforgettable experience.
For Digyna’s entrance, we decided on a custom Shehnai rendition of the beautiful song “Ranjha.” There is nothing quite like creating a magical, heartfelt moment for a bride as she makes her way down the aisle. I absolutely love designing and playing custom songs—it allows me to take a melody that means the world to the couple and weave it into the sacred fabric of the ceremony.

It is incredibly inspiring to see couples so deeply in tune with their culture and tradition. A Hindu wedding ceremony is a rich tapestry of rituals, emotions, and family bonds. When it comes to Indian wedding live music, there is simply nothing that compares to the Shehnai. Its sound is historically and spiritually tied to these sacred moments. It creates a calm, divine atmosphere that sits beautifully beneath the mantras, elevating the entire ceremony and connecting everyone in the room to their roots.
